
Contract For Clients
This Contract represents a working agreement between Mila Taylor Counselling and the client.
Confidentiality:
This is a very important aspect of our relationship.

Everything that is discussed within our sessions remains confidential, except for the following:

If I have concerns about your or someone else’s safety and there is a serious risk of harm to you or others.

If I am required to break confidentiality by a court order.
Supervision:
Supervision is integral to my practice. It provides me with professional support and ensures ethical adherence and competence.
As a member of the COSCA professional body, I must attend regular supervision sessions. However, all details shared within the supervision will be anonymised.
GDPR:
I securely store anonymised/ brief notes from each session on a password-protected laptop, following current GDPR regulations.
Sessions:
The sessions are 50 minutes long and are held at the scheduled date and time.
Please ensure that during these sessions, you are in a private and confidential space where you can explore your difficulties safely, I would recommend using headphones if possible.

If we experience unexpected technical issues with the internet on either side. We can continue the session over the phone or re-arrange, depending on your preference.

Please note that online counselling sessions shall not be recorded by either party.
Payment & Cancellation:
Fees must be made via bank transfer at least 24 hours in advance of the session.

I require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice of any cancellation otherwise full payment will be due.

If I am unable to attend the session due to unforeseen circumstances, such as illness, I will provide you with as much notice as possible with the opportunity to rearrange for another date.

You will also be informed in advance of any planned holidays and days off.
Complaints:
If you feel that I breached the COSCA ethical framework and you are dissatisfied with the service that I provide please raise your concerns with me first, and hopefully, this can be resolved between us. However, if that is not possible, and you want to make a formal complaint, please use the COSCA Complaints Procedure link below:
